Sam & Rebecca Pomianowski
K.I.D. City–Atlanta Coordinators
Early in 2009, Sam and Rebecca Pomianowski joined the K.I.D. ministry leadership team in pioneering the K.I.D. City – Atlanta ministry for the greater Atlanta, Georgia area. Prior to joining the K.I.D. ministry Sam and Rebecca were part of the literature evangelism outreach ministry of the North American Division, and served as missionaries abroad in India. As a part of their intentional Bible work range of experiences, the Pomianowski’s have conducted numerous evangelistic series and have led small group Bible studies in their home. They approach their Christ led pastoral journey as a missionary team working closely with the children and families of their local area. They have a demonstrated passion for uniting churches under the slogan “every member is a minister.” Sam and Rebecca are the parents of three girls; the twins Naomi and Salome, age 6, and Annie age 4.
Why am I a K.I.D. staff member?
In actuality we feel a calling from God, and have for a long time, to reach young people for Jesus. We believe that this is where a large part of our gifts and talents are. We so desperately want to share with young people how they can so easily, by making the right choices, avoid the pitfalls that we fell into. We want to see young people take a stand for Jesus in their homes and among their friends. We want to see young people make a solid decision for Jesus and have that continue on into their teenage and adult years.
Fun Facts about Sam:
• I’ve had about 14 teeth extracted from my mouth and still only have 8 less than a normal set of teeth.
• I’m a pastor and I wear a leather jacket and ride a motorcycle.
• I think it’s funny that everyone thinks I’m funny.
*A favorite Bible verse: *
“Jesus called them together and said, ‘You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave—just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.’”-Matt. 20: 25-28
