Our History
In March 2002, Pastor Don MacLafferty was hired by the Seventh-day Adventist Georgia-Cumberland Conference, Southern Union, and North American Division to launch a pilot project in child discipleship. The Collegedale Seventh-day Adventist Church in Collegedale, Tennessee became the launch site and the ministry began.
Since then, the Kids In Discipleship ministry has grown tremendously. The ministry is now represented in 9 out 13 Seventh-day Adventist world divisions and have trained more than 250 church teams worldwide.
